41th “Molodist” Kyiv International Film Festival is taking place 22.10 -30.10.2010. Festival Centre will be located at the Kyiv Cinema Cultural Centre.
Molodist IFF is the only International cinema event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe recognized by International Federation of Film Producers Associations – FIAPF.
"These festivals are deemed eligible for being accredited by the film sector thanks to the professionalism of the event and the festival's ability and commitment to respect standards defined by the film producers” community worldwide. Among the list of accredited festivals, there are Molodist as well as the Festivals of Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Karlovy Vary, Moscow, Los Angeles”, – Luis Alberto Scalella, FIAPF President."
Volcano has been selected for the competition of : "The Scythian Deer" which is the Grand Prix of the Festival, the FIPRESCI Jury award, the Ecumenical Jury award, the FICC Jury and the Audience award
